In this tutorial we are going to try creating animal fur and I have chosen the texture of a tiger. Lets start with a document of the size you need and fill it with color 875E16.

Start a new layer Layer-New-Layer and then draw a rectangle shaped figure like the one you see in the picture and fill it black.

Draw as many stripes as you want. I draw them in their own layer to avoid any ugly mistakes.

Repeat the same on the upper side.

Now we need to click on Filter-Blur-Gaussian Blur and change the texture according to how big your document is.

Now we need to click on Filter-Noise-Add Noise and again change the number according to your own drawing.

We now need to click on Filter-Blur-Motion Blur and give your fur the angle you preffer.

And here you have it: A tiger's skin.

Or draw your on texture choosing another animal using the same technique.
