Step-1:
Open a new document 400x400. Press D to reset the default colors and then select now the gradient tool and select the values from the picture.

Step-2:
Click somewhere on the upper left corner and drag the mouse to the right drawing a line like so:

Step-3:
When you release the mouse, you get this:

Step-4:
Do the same thing several times drawing little lines as you see in this picture. Every time you draw a little line and release, a new folding appears.

Step-5:
Do this until you get as many folding as you want.
|
Step-6:
Lets add some color by clicking Image-Adjustments-Hue/Saturation. Adjust sliders to find your favorite color.

Step-7:
And click OK.
