Create a TV message
Step-1:

In this Adobe Photoshop Tutorial we are going to learn how to put an animated message on an ordinary TV. Grab the picture of an regular TV and create a new layer Layer-New-Layer.

Step-2:

Using the Polygonal Lasso Tool make an anchor point in one of the corners and go all the way around the screen. When you get to the beginning point Use the Bucket Tool and fill the screen black. Create as many copies of the black screen as you will need in your message and start filling them with what you want one by one.

Step-3:

Create another layer Layer-New-layer and put the first message you want displayed.

Step-4:

You will have to create a new layer for each screen shot that you have in mind like so:

Step-5:

This tutorial will have as many layers as you need.

Step-6:

Keep in mind however that the more layers you have, the bigger the final work will be. This affects the people that have dial up connections for instance.

Step-7:

The bigger the file is, the longer it will take to download over a slow connection and that can frustrates your visitors.

Step-8:

Now lets bring the picture to Image Ready. Select first layer as the initial frame. Only the TV and the first Text layer should be visible. For the second frame, only the TV and second layer and so on and so forth. You will do this for each screen you have created and until all your frames are shot. Each frame lasts two seconds but you can change the timing as needed.

Step-9:

The one thing I haven't mentioned in this Adobe Photoshop Tutorial is to remind you that when you save your animation, you must use Save Optimized As.
