TV static animation
Learn how to animate the picture of a TV set to make it look like there is static interference and then good reception
Step: 1
In this tutorial we are going to learn how to combine static and a regular picture to animate a TV set using Photoshop. Grab the picture of an ordinary TV.

Step: 2
Create a new layer Layer-New-Layer and with the Polygonal Lasso Tool click on all four corners of the screen and when you close the loop Fill the selection with black.

Step: 3
Duplicate the black layer three times. Now select the first of the first three black layers and click on Filter-Noise-Add noise and move choose an appropriate level of noise. The Idea here is to have three layers filled with noise but in different setting so that they all look different and make the animation happen.

Step: 4
Repeat the process in the other two layers but in the second layer use 63.36 and on the third layer use 63.35. Now we have three different looking layers with static on them and we are ready to create our animation.

Step: 5
Now lets bring the picture to Image Ready. select first layer as the initial frame. Only the TV should be visible. For the second frame, only the TV and the first static layer. Now deselect the first static layer and select the second and repeat the process until you have taken a frame of each static layer you have.

Step: 6
Change the timing between one event and the other so that you get an interesting animation. This is my first example.

Step: 7
Using the same work, I changed the timing at various parts and i get this other example. I hope you enjoyed this photoshop tutorial.
